Academic courses in macroaudiology will be developed shortly.

These will take two forms:

1. Elective—a 12-week distance-learning course (“A Structured Approach to Audiological Assessment and Intervention”) suitable for senior audiology students and other student in the field of human communication (speech & language therapists, otologists, audiological physicians). This course will present the history of macroaudiology, its theoretical underpinnings, clinical assessment of auditory function using familiar tools, intervention and new directions.

2. Continuing education—single sub-topic on-line courses offered through professional associations as part of their continuing education process. These courses will present a single macroaudiology topic, offering the topic in detail and allowing for discussion and case-presentations.
