_Morioka

_ This paper presents some of the basic concepts of macroaudiology, and suggests application in audiologist education. The model of the auditory process has matured since then, but is essentially similar to the current model. It was presented at the 1992 Congress of the International Society of Audiology, Morioka, Japan.

_Macroaudiology and Hearing Aids

_This paper was presented at the National Acoustic Laboratory meeting in Sydney in 2002. Unfortunately, the text has been lost. It presented the principles of macroaudiology with regard to hearing aid fitting, emphasising the importance of  “transparency” in hearing aid technology, and giving details on the control of the patient’s own voice.

_ Establishing Immediate Fitting Goals

_This paper presents applications of macroaudiology principles in fitting and tuning hearing aids. It was presented at the 2006 New Zealand Audiological Society in Rotorua, New Zealand.
